As a nutrition and fitness expert, author, foodie, new mom, and wife, I am excited to have you join me as try to navigate the world of working mom while trying to keep both myself and my family fit and healthy.

A little about me: I am a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, and Certified Personal Trainer who specializes in the areas of weight management, diabetes, fitness, and child nutrition. I am the author of “Belly Fat Diet For Dummies,” “2 Day Diabetes Diet,” “Walking the Weight Off For Dummies,” and co-author of “Flat Belly Cookbook For Dummies.” I often work as a freelancer writer for publications such as Dr. Oz’s The Good Life Magazine and I am also called upon frequently as a media expert for national and regional broadcast, radio, and print spots, and serve as a brand ambassador, spokesperson, and motivational speaker.

I plan to use this blog to share fun stories of the trials and tribulations of adjusting to motherhood, tips and recipes for keeping yourself and your family healthy (with foods your kids will actually eat), and anything else that comes to mind.
